Omni partners with clients across multiple industries, including Fortune 500 companies, and contracts with independent professionals to provide customer support. Contractors support customers primarily through inbound calls and may also assist via chat or email depending on the program. This is a contractor relationship, not an employee role.
Schedule
- Remote, work from home (independent contractor)
- Majority of hours available are weekdays and daytime
- Ability to create a schedule that works best for you (within client/contract hours of operation)
- Applications accepted only on laptop or desktop computers
What You’ll Do
- Handle inbound customer support calls (and possibly chat/email depending on the client)
- Resolve customer questions and issues with a friendly, professional tone
- Use computer applications and client tools to document and complete support tasks
- Maintain quality standards and meet minimum targets tied to incentives when applicable
What You Need
- Exceptional written and verbal communication in English and Spanish
- Proven customer service experience and commitment to strong customer care
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Professional, empathetic communication style
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Comfort using technology and software tools
- Equipment and setup requirements:
- Personal computer with at least 8GB RAM (no tablets or Chromebooks)
- Wired USB headset with microphone
- High-speed wired internet (minimum 10 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload)
- No mobile home internet or satellite internet
- Windows 11 (some clients may accept AppleOS)
- Windows Defender active (or approved equivalent on AppleOS)
- Smartphone required for daily authentication
- Quiet, dedicated workspace with no background noise
- Location restrictions apply (see unapproved locations list in posting)
