Customer Service Representative

Job Overview:
This position is responsible to receive customer inquiries (telephone calls and e-transactions) on various issues, including orders, payments, and cash applications. Apply customer credit card and electronic payments. Issue call tags, credits and trace customer order shipments. Interact with Sales and Distribution Center teams regarding products and customers inquiries. Responsible to maintain confidential and highly sensitive information
Key Responsibilities:
Receive customer inquiries (telephone calls and e-transactions) on various issues, including orders, payments, and cash applications. Issue call tags (merchandise returns), credits, and trace customer order shipments. Responsible to maintain confidential and highly sensitive information. Apply customer credit card and electronic payments. Issue refund checks to customers.
- Interact with Sales and Distribution Center teams regarding products and customers inquiries.
- Contact manufacturers for warranty and product information. Process order cancellations and backorder cancellations.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as needed.
Specific Knowledge & Skills:
- Very good telephone etiquette, ability to answer a high volume of calls, effective dispute resolution.
- General computer skills and ability to learn applicable computer systems.
- Aptitude to learn related financial transactions.

Work Experience:
- Typically 1 or more years of related experience.
Preferred Education:

Travel/ Physical Demands:
- Office environment. No special physical demands required.
Compensation:
The posted range for this position is $31,680 – $55,440 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
This position is eligible for an incentive not reflected in the posted range.
