Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound calls, emails, and inquiries from insureds and carriers
- Make outbound calls to provide updates, resolve pending issues, or follow up on customer needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and service notes in the CRM
- Process policy changes, client updates, and requests submitted via phone, email, or mail
- Follow established procedures to ensure regulatory and HIPAA compliance
- Meet or exceed individual SLAs, quality metrics, and customer satisfaction goals
- Participate in training to stay current on products, processes, and systems
- Identify recurring issues and suggest workflow improvements
- Collaborate with peers to support departmental initiatives and maintain a positive, team-oriented culture
Requirements
- High school diploma required; associate degree preferred
- 1–2 years of customer service or call center experience required
- Insurance, healthcare, or financial services experience preferred
- Life & Health license (IL) preferred or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
