Job Summary:

We are looking for a friendly individual to join our team in assisting customers. Duties include but are not limited to helping clients in the office, answering phones, making payments, changes to policies, returning voicemails, quoting personal lines policies and helping file claims.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily service on assigned accounts: Account transactions including ID cards, proposal endorsements, certificates, claims, renewals, quoting and binding policies, follow-up, and correspondence.
  • Respond to client inquiries, incoming mail, and company request needs on a timely basis.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Maintain accuracy of client data in agency management system (Applied Systems).

Requirements:

  • Property & Casualty License or ability to obtain one within 3 months of hire date
  • Strong organizational skills- ability to discern priority and initiative
  • Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish, highly preferred.

Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma required, Associate Degree or higher preferred
  • Insurance industry background preferred, not required.
