Schedule
- Full-time, remote (USA)
- Standard weekday schedule with breaks and lunches adhered to
- Hourly pay range: $16 – $19 per hour
What You’ll Do
- Field 8–10 inbound calls per hour regarding patient medical record requests
- Provide issue resolution, status updates, and invoice/fee support
- Document all call details in company systems (VRM, RingCentral) for accurate resolution
- Manage email/voicemail support queues (20 per hour)
- Serve as a training buddy for new hires, supporting onboarding and knowledge sharing
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, state/federal regulations, and customer requirements
- Build positive relationships with attorneys, insurers, disability offices, providers, patients, and internal partners
- Achieve service standards including QA score >93 and working rate >85%
- Promote Verisma’s Core Values and support team performance
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
- 3+ years of customer service experience, or 1+ year in this role with consistent high performance
- 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA and state regulations around Protected Health Information, preferred
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer proficiency with accurate keyboarding skills
- Attention to detail, patience, and ability to resolve concerns in fast-paced environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
