What You’ll Do

  • Answer inbound patient questions about billing statements and balances
  • Post guarantor payments accurately
  • Set up payment plans according to policy
  • Research and resolve account issues reported by patients
  • Coordinate with internal departments to complete patient requests
  • Connect patients with financial counseling for charity screening when appropriate
  • Communicate balances clearly and professionally
  • Meet collection goals while maintaining excellent customer service
  • Partner across revenue cycle teams to resolve issues end-to-end
  • Document all communication and actions in internal systems
  • Complete other duties as assigned

What You Need

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Call center and customer service experience (preferred)
  • 1–2 years of healthcare industry experience (preferred)
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-resolution skills
  • Comfort working across revenue cycle activities (customer service + collections)
  • Experience with physician/hospital operations, compliance, or provider relations (helpful)
  • CRCR certification within 9 months of hire (required after hire)
