Position Summary:

The PFE Customer Service Representative, as the primary point of contact for patients, provides exceptional customer service in response to a high volume of incoming calls regarding account status in compliance with department policies/procedures, and the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) and HIPAA regulations. The Representative researches and resolves difficult and/or complex billing issues or discrepancies that builds relationships, and increases overall trust and satisfaction in the patient’s financial experience.

This is an advanced level billing customer service position, working in a call center environment with limited supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Two (2) years of health care billing or customer service experience required OR
  • One (1) year of MHS billing experience and demonstrated customer service skills
