What You’ll Do
- Handle inbound calls, workflows, and chats for policyholders, providers, and sales agents on health, life, and preneed policies
- Process changes such as premium refunds, deductible adjustments, dependent removals, and policy terminations
- Document customer claims and policy changes with accuracy and compliance
- Research and resolve moderately complex issues, escalating as needed
- Mentor and support less experienced team members
- Contribute to projects and continuous improvement initiatives
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ year of customer service or related experience (insurance experience a plus)
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in judgment-based decisions
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Active listening and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with state and federal regulations
- General proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
