- Remote (U.S.A.)
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 12pm–9pm EST
- Mandatory paid virtual training: Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm EST for approximately 4 weeks before moving to the shift
- Quiet home workspace and stable internet required
What You’ll Do
- Answer inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat
- Provide expert support on Justworks’ products and services including software, benefits, payroll, compliance, and HR
- Help customers and their employees with benefits administration, eligibility, and enrollment across medical, dental, vision, life, FSA, HSA, commuter benefits, disability, retirement, and COBRA
- Resolve payroll-related questions including payments, time and attendance, payroll reports, wage and hour laws, and payroll policies and procedures
- Maintain deep product knowledge and provide training and best practices to customers
- Manage open cases in a CRM to drive timely resolutions while keeping customers informed
- Triage and escalate complex issues to team leads or subject matter experts when needed
- Recommend improvements to products and processes, advocate for customers, and report bugs to engineering
- Build collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners and support other team needs as they arise
What You Need
- 1–2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a contact center
- Prior remote work experience (preferred)
- Experience with customer support tools like Zendesk, Talkdesk, JIRA, and Confluence (plus)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Comfort de-escalating challenging situations over the phone
- Ability to learn new products quickly and explain complex topics in simple terms
- Strong organization, urgency, and prioritization skills
- Self-starter mindset with strong ownership and accountability
- Experience in benefits, payroll, HR, or related industries (plus)
- Spanish or another second language (business conversational) (plus)
