Schedule

  • Remote (U.S.)
  • Monday–Friday, 12:00pm–9:00pm Eastern Time
  • Mandatory paid virtual training: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm Eastern Time for ~4 weeks before moving to the shift schedule
  • Stable internet + a quiet workspace strongly expected

What You’ll Do

  • Answer inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat
  • Troubleshoot and explain Justworks products and services: software, benefits, payroll, compliance, and HR
  • Support benefits admin and eligibility/enrollment questions (medical, dental, vision, life, FSA/HSA, commuter, disability, retirement, COBRA)
  • Resolve payroll-related questions including payments, time & attendance, reports, and wage/hour basics
  • Manage open cases in the CRM, keeping customers informed on status and timelines
  • Provide a white-glove experience with urgency, accuracy, and empathy
  • Triage and escalate complex cases to Team Leads or subject matter experts
  • Share customer feedback, identify bugs, and recommend process/product improvements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and support other team needs as they come up

What You Need

  • 1–2 years of customer service experience (contact center preferred)
  • Remote work experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
  • Comfort defusing challenging situations over the phone
  • Ability to learn fast, simplify complex topics, and propose creative solutions
  • Strong organization and prioritization with a sense of urgency
  • Self-starter mindset with ownership and accountability
  • Bonus: experience with Zendesk, Talkdesk, Jira, and Confluence
  • Bonus: benefits, payroll, HR, or adjacent industry experience
  • Bonus: Spanish or another second language (business conversation level)
