What You’ll Do

  • Negotiate settlements with creditors and law firms to resolve escalated accounts and help halt legal action
  • Communicate client hardships, review savings, and determine funds needed to complete settlements
  • Build and maintain working relationships with law firms, attorneys, and paralegals
  • Analyze client portfolios to choose the best strategy for faster debt resolution
  • Review client banking info to confirm available funds and timing for settlements
  • Gather and submit legal documentation for approvals and payments
  • Track progress toward monthly KPIs and keep files moving with urgency
  • Manage confidential client data with discretion and accuracy
  • Collaborate with teammates to improve efficiency and outcomes

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience
  • Comfort in a metrics-driven, goals-based environment
  • Strong analytical thinking, professionalism, and negotiation-ready communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with creditors, law firms, and internal teams
  • Calm under pressure during difficult conversations and escalations
  • Strong organization and multitasking across multiple systems
  • Computer proficiency and CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
  • Dependable attendance and willingness to take feedback and improve
