  • Regular collaboration with beneficiaries, clients, vendors, and internal teams

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for large national account clients
  • Respond to questions regarding retiree and active dependent life insurance
  • Communicate with beneficiaries and vendors to gather necessary documentation
  • Verify eligibility, confirm premium payments, and submit life insurance claims for processing
  • Document all communications and actions in the designated database
  • Prepare customized benefits materials and respond to inquiries with empathy
  • Balance inbound/outbound calls while completing administrative tasks
  • Consistently meet quality performance standards and complete all required training

What You Need

  • HS Diploma or GED required; some college preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Excel, SharePoint)
  • 2+ years of prior customer service experience (insurance experience preferred)
  • Background in contact center or life claims process is a plus
  • Ability to convey empathy in sensitive situations
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Knowledge of insurance coverage, legal liability, and medical terminology a plus

Benefits

  • Salary range: $45,000–$55,000 annually
  • Eligible for discretionary bonus
  • Overtime eligible (non-exempt)
