What You’ll Do
- Cold call members at partner organizations to educate them on Lantern’s surgery, cancer, and infusion care programs
- Build trust and rapport through empathetic, confident conversations that help members understand options and next steps
- Explain the value of Lantern’s benefit and encourage members to engage and take action
- Identify barriers to engagement and proactively find ways to overcome them
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handoffs and a consistent, high-quality member experience
- Meet and exceed performance metrics tied to outreach volume, engagement, and member satisfaction
- Share feedback from members to continuously improve communication and the overall experience
- Deliver warm, professional interactions, even during emotionally charged conversations
What You Need
- 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing outreach or service role (Sales Development, member engagement, patient advocacy, customer service, healthcare navigation, or sales support)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proven empathy and professionalism with diverse audiences
- Strong organization, time management, and follow-up habits
- Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- High emotional intelligence and strong active listening skills
- Healthcare, benefits, or patient support experience (preferred)
- Sales Development experience (preferred)
- Experience in a fast-growing or mission-driven company (preferred)
