With general direction and considerable latitude for independent judgment and discretion, this position will be responsible for selling HealtheEquity’s core products in a defined region. This is inclusive of prospect identification, pipeline development and contract closing for distribution into HealthEquity’s current partner base and direct to employers. This role supports small groups (with 2-100 US Based Employees). Additional tasks include sales presentations attending / leading conferences trainings, and cultivating relationships with brokers, partners, and employers in their assigned region.
What you’ll be doing
HealthEquity’s Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for end-to-end sales cycle for small to mid-sized employers & driving revenue through:
- Participating in territory seminars that may include Continuing Education (CE) credits
- Cultivating and growing broker relationships in territory to explain joint HSA / CBD solution
- Participating in sales meetings with partners as the Subject Matter Experts on HSA / CBD
- Giving sales presentations & demos via phone and online conference calls
- Taking a consultative approach with employers & brokers to determine the best mixture of HealthEquity’s bundle of products, pricing, and partners
- Applying business acumen to close the sale and determine the best plan and partnership for each individual opportunity
- Leveraging sequence and cadence tools to drive efficiency during sales cycle
- Managing a large pipeline of opportunities through Salesforce.com
- Collaborating heavily with Regional Sales Directors & internal stakeholders
- Creating, tracking, and maintaining a strategic plan and updating internal systems for proper reporting, including but not limited to SalesForce CRM
- Having specific knowledge of Health Savings Account (HSA), Consumer Director Benefits (CBD) accounts, COBRA, Wellness Products and the internal processes that HealthEquity uses to administer the various accounts.
What you will need to be successful
- Extensive knowledge of the group health industry & HealthEquity products (HSA, FSA, HRA, COBRA, Commuter, Wellness, etc)
- Proven B2B phone sales experience in a closing role
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Strong phone presence
- Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
- Experience working with Outreach.io or similar sequence/cadence systems
- Ability to work independently and manage their own schedule. Schedules may vary and include sales calls, prospecting, follow ups, contracting, introduction and OE meetings
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
- Comfortable with multiple & changing technology requirements
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent, 4-year degree a plus
- Highly detail-oriented
- Experience working within multi-state territories preferred
