To join our team as an Energy Advisor! You will work on a team that assists utility client’s diverse, multi-lingual customer base in determining eligibility for participation in an exciting new income qualified program.
After connecting with customers through our state-of-the-art marketing and engagement processes, you will offer personalized assistance and education based on the customer’s energy efficiency needs. As an Energy Advisor, you will walk customers through projects from program eligibility, in-home assessment scheduling, paperwork, installation scheduling to project completion, and follow up to help customers save as much on their utility bill as possible through additional strategies.
Energy Advisors are trained on the job and provide information and services, training on building science and technical specifications, and fulfilling program requirements. Energy Advisors also report and track customer progress to ensure that the team meets all client goals.

- Make and receive calls to prospective and enrolled customers, property owners and contractor partners to ensure excellent customer experience. Calls include building customer interest in scheduling an in-home assessment and following up with customers regarding the results and encouraging them on their next steps.
- Provide technical advice, guidance and training on adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications.
- Complete data entry and QA/QC support as needed.
- Record customer and contractor interactions to adhere to program requirements.
For this exciting career opportunity, you will have…
- 1-2 years relevant industry experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of training, education, and work experience in a related field
- Technical and/or sales and/or customer service experience preferred
- Multilingual preferred
- Self-motivation, organization, and the ability to prioritize your workload
- Must reside in the state of California, or must be willing to relocate
