Lamps Plus is the nation’s largest lighting retailer for best selection, service & value. Since 1976, we have worked to become a full one stop shop for all lighting and furniture needs. Our Professionals division is dedicated to focus specifically on our professional customers.
We offer a unique approach with 40 retail stores, $1M+ square feet of warehouse space and a vast online assortment we are able to serve all of our customers in many different ways.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Enrollment Agent to assist with to help reenergize old and inactive accounts. This job operates in a professional office environment, though circumstances may dictate the need for flexibility and the potential requirement of working from home.
We will provide the necessary training on how to make outbound calls with value and look for someone who can build great relationships with our customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Tasked with speaking to every new lead that comes into our program
- Make 30+ outbound calls a day to build client base
- Verify lead or account is eligible for trade membership
- Assess clients business needs and detail how Lamps Plus can fit those needs
- Probe inactive or new accounts to determine where they are purchasing, what pricing they are getting, and how Lamps Plus can earn their business
- Pitch, sell and close clients on Lamps Plus pros over the competition
- Respectfully communicates with the department supervisors and Account Managers
- Work with Account Managers, introducing qualified and interested clients for the Account Manager to engage with.
- Communicates with Management on any issues, discrepancies and programming glitches affecting the Pro’s department.
- Handles customers with care, empathy and sincerity regarding their issues.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in a solutions-based selling environment
- High School Diploma is required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to think like an owner of the business
- Demonstrate the ability to be coachable and open-minded to feedback
- Able to sound confident in your product recommendations
- Excellent multi-tasking ability is a key to the success of this role
- Reliable and always strive to be on time
- Microsoft suite experience (outlook, PowerPoint, excel)
Clients you will work with
- Architectural Firms, Contractors, Interior Designer, Property Management, and Real Estate Developer who have signed or enrolled into our Lamps Plus Pros program and do not have someone from New Accounts or Retention working them.
