About the Role:
As an Executive Assistant at Samsara, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Vice Presidents within the Business Technology (IT) organization. This position demands a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive professional capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will work on the following:
- Calendar Management: Efficiently manage and coordinate the VPs’ calendars, schedule meetings, and appointments while anticipating conflicts and handling them with discretion.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between the VPs and internal/external stakeholders. Manage communication, including emails, phone calls, and department-wide announcements.
- Meeting Coordination: Organize and prepare for meetings, including gathering documents, preparing agendas, and taking minutes. Facilitate video conferences and teleconferences as needed.
- Travel Arrangements: Coordinate travel itineraries, accommodations, and other logistics for business trips.
- Project Support: Assist in overseeing projects within the Business Technology department, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders are informed.
- Expense Management: Handle expense reports and budget tracking for the VPs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Confidentiality: Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion with sensitive company and employee information.
- Administrative Support: Perform various administrative tasks such as preparing reports, maintaining records, and managing office supplies.
Minimum requirements for the role::
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably within a technology or IT department.
- Proficiency in Google suite of tools (gcal, gmail, gdocs, gslides, etc) and familiarity with other business technologies (zoom, expense tools, etc ).
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
