An opportunity exists for a C&B Fleet Program Specialist in the Laboratory Chemicals Division (LCD) of Thermo Fisher Scientific. What will you do?:

Customer Returnable Drum fleet support

  • Build and update customer fleet health reports and dashboards for all customers.
  • Evaluate and report on customer drum fleet health; elevate concerns when customers are at risk of being stocked out.
  • Review, evaluate, and take action on customer order reports.
  • Support in customer resolution and order entry for drums.
  • Maintain accuracy of data for shipment and return of drums.

Customer Orders

  • Process customer orders within our business systems (AS400/OMS); take action and perform tasks related to these orders.
  • Verify accuracy of customer and order information.
  • Monitor backorders every day.

Customer Service

  • Provide high level of service, meeting or exceeding the expectations of existing and new customers.
  • Collaborate with other internal functions, including sales, service, and management, to ensure high customer service levels; effectively communicate across functions.
  • Provide resolution on customer delivery complaints.
  • Responsible for interacting daily with customers (internal and external), distributors and sales representatives regarding sales channels, product lines, equipment, descriptions, features, terms and conditions, specifications, warranties, freight terms, deliveries, pricing, policies, freight estimates, inside delivery estimates, returns installation and any other requirements to fulfill the conditions of contacts and orders.
  • Support Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodology and participate in initiatives as required.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Asset management experience is preferred.
  • Supply chain and planning experience is preferred
  • Chemicals manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Ability to develop knowledge of our portfolio.
  • Familiarity of Salesforce preferred.
  • MS Office products (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Outstanding ability to solve problems.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

How will you get here:

  • An Associate’s degree is required, and a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Ability to develop knowledge of our portfolio.
  • Familiarity of Salesforce preferred.
  • MS Office products (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Outstanding ability to tackle problems.
