- Full-time, remote position (supporting Cincinnati, OH and Tempe, AZ regions)
- Standard business hours with required mandatory overtime during peak seasons
- Phone and email-based client and CPA support in a fast-paced environment
What You’ll Do
⦁ Support the General Ledger Reporting Service by handling inbound and outbound calls from clients and CPAs, delivering clear, accurate help on GL and accounting questions
⦁ Meet response-time goals for phone and email to ensure strong customer service and a positive client experience
⦁ Assist clients and CPAs with entry and maintenance of new client information in the General Ledger Reporting Service, ensuring accuracy of accounting data
⦁ Provide technical guidance on internet and PC-related procedures such as file download, editing files, and import/export functions
⦁ Support customers using accounting software like QuickBooks, Peachtree, Creative Solutions, Datafaction, and Microsoft Excel for imports/exports, transactions, and chart of accounts updates
⦁ Use appropriate accounting terminology with CPAs while also translating accounting concepts into plain language for clients with limited accounting knowledge
⦁ Manually create or provide accounting data when systems are unavailable to ensure timely delivery of information
⦁ Log phone calls and emails to maintain a detailed database of client and CPA interactions
⦁ Contribute to training programs for new and current employees to improve effectiveness and consistency across the team
What You Need
⦁ High school diploma required; college degree preferred
⦁ At least 2 years of small business accounting experience, including use of accounting software for tasks like payroll, bank reconciliation, budgeting, and cash flow monitoring
⦁ Comfort supporting and troubleshooting common accounting platforms (QuickBooks and similar systems)
⦁ Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical or accounting concepts clearly
⦁ Solid PC skills with knowledge of internet practices, file handling, and Microsoft Excel
⦁ Ability to stay organized, document interactions, and manage multiple client needs in a structured environment
⦁ Willingness to work mandatory overtime during peak periods to support business demand
