Groups Project Leader (Corporate Travel)
Fulltime, based in Belgium or The Netherlands (BCD Office or Home Office)
We are looking for a Groups Project Leader to join our dynamic team. In this client facing role you will act as consultant for business customers. You will help them to organize group travels and keep projects running on time, on budget and have mastered the art of managing multiple priorities at once. Sound like you? Read on!
A snapshot of this opportunity
- You will appropriately guide and consistently provide consultation to the client
- Book group and meeting reservations for air travel, hotel and car rentals
- Create and maintain rooming lists and arrival and departure lists
- Expertly use the appropriate BCD Travel tools and systems to complete requests
- Perform follow-up as needed and within the time frame promised to the client
- Excellent knowledge and application of travel supplier rules
- Able to work with 3rd party vendors
- Negotiate and manage group air contracts
How can you set yourself apart?
- Experience as Travel Consultant in corporate travel environment
- Proficiency on Amadeus GDS required
- Knowledge of ticketing procedures for airline, hotel and car rental systems
- Demonstrated internet research skills for customer information.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French (knowledge of Dutch will be a plus)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent problem solving and/or critical thinking skills
- Able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
