Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–9:00 PM EST (scheduled 8-hour shift within this window)
- Remote call center environment
What You’ll Do
- Handle inbound calls from patients seeking assistance with medical payments and negotiate repayment plans within hospital/clinic guidelines
- Place outbound calls to patients to establish payment or arrangements on outstanding balances
- Document accurate account histories across multiple software systems while maintaining confidentiality
- Assist patients in exploring resources to resolve account balances
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily and monthly productivity and collection goals
- Stay up to date with FDCPA and federal collection laws to ensure compliance in all interactions
- Participate in virtual contests and incentives to drive results and teamwork
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Collections experience preferred
- Minimum 6 months of customer service experience
- Ability to type 30–40 WPM and navigate multiple PC systems
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Professional communication skills with patients, coworkers, and management
- Ability to work independently and remain focused in a remote environment
