About the Role
Healthcare Member Advocates handle inbound and outbound calls, assisting members with billing, claims, pharmacy and medical benefits, and more. This is more than customer service—it’s true advocacy. You’ll listen, guide, and resolve issues, making healthcare simpler for every caller.

Schedule

  • Full-time, remote
  • 12 weeks of paid mandatory training (100% attendance required)
  • Call center hours:
    • Mon–Fri: 8 AM–9 PM EST
    • Sat: 9 AM–7:30 PM EST
  • All equipment provided

What You’ll Do

  • Answer inbound/outbound calls with professionalism and empathy
  • Support members with billing, quoting, claims research, and benefit understanding
  • Accurately document each call in system databases
  • Verify and update member information as needed
  • Listen actively to uncover opportunities for better service and provide additional information
  • Follow up with members to ensure complete resolution
  • Contribute to team improvements by leveraging call center performance data
  • Stay consistent with shift, schedule, and service adherence

What You Need

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous call center or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple systems at once
  • Proficiency with internet tools, search engines, and navigating tabs/windows
  • Comfortable sitting for extended periods
  • Must pass background check, drug screen, and preemployment assessments
  • Reliable high-speed internet (20 Mbps download / 12 Mbps upload minimum; no hotspots, satellite, or wireless connections)
  • Enclosed, distraction-free workspace at home
