Work from home while supporting healthcare members with billing, benefits, claims, and more. In this role, you’ll do more than answer questions—you’ll advocate for members, making sure their needs are met with care, clarity, and professionalism.
About the Role
As a Healthcare Member Advocate, you’ll handle inbound and outbound calls to assist members with medical and pharmacy benefits, billing, quoting, claims research, and more. You’ll use web-based systems to provide fast, accurate solutions and ensure every caller has a positive experience.
Schedule
- Full-time, remote role
- Call center hours:
- Mon–Fri: 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM EST
- Sat: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM EST
- Mandatory 12 weeks of paid training (100% attendance required)
- All equipment provided
What You’ll Do
- Answer member inquiries with professionalism and empathy
- Assist with billing, benefits, claims, and requested materials
- Document all customer interactions in company systems
- Verify and update customer information as needed
- Listen actively and provide additional helpful information when appropriate
- Follow up with callers to ensure resolution
- Maintain performance standards and schedule adherence
What You Need
- High School diploma or GED
- Prior call center or customer service experience (preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literacy: navigating multiple windows/tabs, internet searches, and system use
- Ability to multi-task and sit for extended periods
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, pre-employment testing, and internet speed test
Work from Home Requirements
- Enclosed, distraction-free home office
- Non-cellular high-speed internet (Fiber, DSL, or cable)
- Minimum speeds: 20 Mbps download / 12 Mbps upload
- No hotspots, satellite, or wireless internet permitted
