This role is for somebody who can hear “I’m canceling” and calmly turn that into “Actually… let’s keep this going.” You’ll handle inbound calls and emails from customers at risk of canceling, run winback outreach to previously canceled accounts, and use retention tactics to save revenue while keeping the relationship intact.

What You’ll Do
• Answer inbound calls and respond to emails from customers requesting cancellation
• Proactively reach out to customers showing cancellation risk to prevent churn
• Work a database of canceled customers to drive reactivation (winbacks)
• Handle escalated issues requiring deeper troubleshooting and problem solving
• Use trained “high value saving” techniques to retain accounts and hit targets
• Present solutions like billing adjustments, credits, refunds, and service/value reframes
• Document every interaction with accurate, timely CRM/database updates
• Represent the brand professionally in all written and verbal communication
What You Need
• High school diploma/GED (or equivalent experience)
• 1+ year of sales experience OR 2+ years of customer care experience
• Retention/winback experience preferred
• Strong objection handling, conflict resolution, and de-escalation skills
• Ability to explain value, features, and benefits clearly and confidently
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry habits
• Comfort with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Basic math skills (percentages, discounts, commissions, proportions)
• Strong time management and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
Benefits
• Base pay: $28.85/hr (listed as $60,000 base)
• Bonus: up to $40,000 (uncapped), OTE $100,000
