Location Details:
At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-events or offsites. Your hiring manager can share more about this role’s hybrid or remote time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.
This position may be a hybrid or fully remote position, as decided by your manager. If designated as hybrid, you’ll divide your time between working remotely from your home and an office location, so you should live within commuting distance. If designated as remote, you’ll be working remotely from your home and may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team
While our Center of Excellence is located in Arizona, this position is open to other additional states (remotely).
This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, California, Colorado, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, or the Virgin Islands.

Our shifts may require working nights, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation
As with many sales roles, our compensation combines both an hourly rate ($15-$17 per hour, depending on team) and variable compensation plan (with no cap). Employees working full-time start annualized at $31,200-$35,360 and those who meet 100% of target for their variable would be all in between $58k-$83k. The great news is that in 2022, many Guides consistently exceeded their sales goals and landed in the $75k-$100k range, and some were even higher, since there is no cap on the variable.

The Email Sales role is an integral part of the Inbound Sales team, playing a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious revenue growth and customer retention objectives. In this position, you will handle client relationships on a day-to-day basis, primarily fielding inbound calls requesting technical and troubleshooting support for their existing products. We make sure that our customers have the solutions they need to be successful, advocate for the customer, and conduct needs-based conversations to offer new products and solutions to help grow our customers’ businesses.
What you’ll get to do…
- You will be a part of a team of dedicated sales agents geared toward ensuring all of our Email customers get the product suite they need, at the right time, every time.
- You will provide assistance to customers with purchases, technical issues, and other general questions/concerns, while ensuring a positive customer experience.
- You will provide immediate and appropriate technical support to customers regarding GoDaddy Email products and services.
- You will thoroughly review all validated customer accounts to seek opportunities for renewing contracts, consolidate billing dates, adding on products that work with existing core products, and address any other account alerts that may exist.
Your experience should include…
- 3+ years’ sales experience with a proven record of understanding customer needs.
- 3+ years’ experience in a commission, bonus, and/or metrics-driven environment.
- Experience using a CRM or other customer management software.
- Familiarity with Office 365 and related add-ons a plus
- Understanding of what it is like leading a small business—you can speak and consult to small business owners and CEO’s.
- Proven ability to build relationships with customer base.
- Strong multi-tasking, time-management, and prioritization skills.
