Inside Sales Coordinator
The Inside Sales Coordinator is responsible for managing inbound customer calls and e-mails, qualifying leads, and handing off to appropriate outside sales team. The overall goal of the position is to increase the lead to sale metric, getting more qualified leads to the outside sales team thus improving their focus and generating more business.
What You Will Do:
- Respond to inbound sales-related customer inquiries by gathering initial data from the lead, understanding customer needs, and providing basic recommendations for furthering the sale
- Manage customer expectations around buying process and own actions for post-sale customer follow up.
- Enter leads into Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for tracking; Microsoft Dynamics is our CRM
- Explore creative solutions to building lead pipeline via programs, blitzes, outbound calling, etc.
- Qualify or communicate leads to appropriate outside sales team
- Explore 3rd party data to identify potential leads and/or sales enablement data for sales teams
- Compile multiple data points to create and call on lists
- Share outbound insights with key stakeholders (activities, trends, data analysis, recommendations, etc.)
- Work with sales to outline best practices for follow-up
- Ability to multitask and handle ad hoc projects to support the broader business as needed
- Ability to analyze data and make recommendations on process improvements
What You Need to Succeed:
- Associate degree in business related field or 1-3 years of sales experience in inside or outside sales; business to business experience preferred.
- Ability to positively represent Allegion in written and verbal communication, comfortable connecting both internally and externally, sales-minded.
- Entrepreneurial spirit to take and fully own projects as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- CRM experience/exposure required, Microsoft Dynamics a plus.
- Experience work with PowerBI a plus
- Preference given to candidates living near Carmel, IN or near one of the US Regional Sales Offices
