Inside Sales Coordinator – Remote EST or CST United States

The Inside Sales Coordinator is responsible for managing and nurturing inbound customer calls and emails, qualifying leads, facilitating the customer journey while supporting outside sales teams. The overall goal of the position is to increase the lead to sale metric by delivering rich and actionable leads to the outside sales team, enhancing their focus, and generating more business. This role serves as the conduit between sales and marketing leveraging our capabilities across all businesses, driving incremental revenue.

What You Will Do:

  • Respond to inbound sales-related customer inquiries by gathering initial data from the lead, understanding customer needs, and providing basic recommendations for furthering the sale
  • Manage customer expectations throughout the buying process and handle post-sale follow-up to ensure satisfaction.
  • Enter and manage leads into Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (Microsoft Dynamics), using dashboards and reports to track progress.
  • Qualify leads and communicate them to the appropriate outside sales team, collaborating on best practices for follow-ups and nurturing.
  • Manage and nurture marketing leads from start to finish, ensuring timely responses to emails and live calls.
  • Cultivate existing customer connections to secure repeat business and respond to marketing campaigns effectively.
  • Communicate with internal teams, including outside sales, marketing, and product support, to align efforts.
  • Utilize CRM and other reporting tools to manage your lead pipeline efficiently.
  • Multitask and handle ad hoc projects to support the broader business as needed.
  • Analyze data to make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Attend meetings to present data and trends, contributing to strategic discussions.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Associate degree in a business-related field or 1-3 years of sales experience in inside or outside sales; business-to-business experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to positively represent Allegion in written and verbal communication, comfortable connecting both internally and externally, with a sales-minded approach.
  • CRM experience required; exposure to Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Team player with an entrepreneurial spirit to take full ownership of projects as needed.
  • Experience with PowerBI is a plus.
