Job Description
What you’ll be doing
- Effectively manage existing customer accounts for Personal insurance policies via phone, email, text and chat using various insurance company systems
- Analyze customers’ insurance needs based on their current insurance coverage
- Clearly explain insurance products to customers leveraging a consultative and empathetic approach
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities via gaps in coverage
- Work effectively in a fun and collaborative team environment
Qualifications
What your background looks like
- Property and casualty insurance license required
- Associate’s degree or relevant work experience
- Previous Customer Service experience; independent agency experience a plus!
- Ability to multitask, strong computer, analytical, decision making, time management and organizational skills
- Fast-learner who is detail oriented
- Empathetic toward customer needs
- Curious and willing to challenge the status quo
- Highly-motivated, have an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong work ethic
