Schedule
- Full-time, Remote (U.S.) – Eastern Time Zone preferred
- Supports the Southeast region
- Pay range: $17.75 – $22.00/hour
- Annual bonus: up to 5% of base pay
What You’ll Do
- Receive inbound calls from patients and schedule appointments across multiple locations
- Communicate professionally with patients and referral sources
- Document appointment requests accurately and confirm details
- Manage incoming faxes from referral partners
- Route general inquiry calls and handle rescheduled/no-show follow-ups
- Ensure each patient is matched with the right clinician and appointment type
What You Need
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of related experience (customer service, call center, insurance, or medical records)
Preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Orthotic and Prosthetic industry experience
- Familiarity with EMR systems (NextGen)
Success Factors
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA and medical insurance regulations
- Familiarity with coding: ICD-9, ICD-10, HCPC/CPT
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and billing systems
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude and ability to work independently
