Schedule

  • Full-time, remote (excluding AL, AK, CT, DE, HI, IA, KS, KY, ME, MA, MS, MT, NE, NH, NM, ND, RI, SC, SD, VT, WV, WY)
  • Hours: 6:00am–7:00pm CST (shifts vary by department needs)
  • Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–7:00pm CST
  • Friday: 8:00am–6:00pm CST

Responsibilities

  • Place outbound calls to new and existing patients to enroll them in specialty services
  • Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and healthcare professionals
  • Collect and document patient information including demographics, allergies, medication history, comorbidities, and insurance
  • Accurately translate prescription and payer information into pharmacy software
  • Contact doctors and prescribers for required details to ensure timely patient care
  • Support prior authorization processes with providers and insurance companies
  • Manage workflow queues and maintain complete, accurate documentation
  • Adhere to all state and federal compliance standards and company ethics policies
  • Assist with pharmacy technician duties and collaborate with other facility teams

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred
  • National CPhT certification and/or state pharmacy registration/licensure (per state requirements)
  • At least 2 years of pharmacy support or healthcare environment experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work scheduled hours and adapt to department needs
  • Cooperative and respectful team mindset
