The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Key Account Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Attaining the sales forecasts aligned with business.
  • Providing accurate and timely sales forecasts to management.
  • Developing annual business plans to achieve goals to drive core growth, new product distribution, and promotional programs.
  • Developing account relationships across Merchandising, Replenishment, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Supporting Cross Functional Internal Teams (Business Analysis, Customer Service, Inventory Planners, Shopper Marketers, CDM’s and Marketing) on key initiatives for assigned accounts.
  • Participating in cross functional product development to aid in defining future growth opportunities within assigned account.
  • Preparing and deliver account presentations utilizing Sales and Marketing data, as well as syndicated data.
  • Providing accurate and timely information on competitive activity and retail conditions to Sales management.
  • Managing budgets within guidelines

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • Three (3) combined years of customer facing experience in Sales/Account Management, Marketing and/or Analytics in a private, public, government or military environment.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Experience and in depth understanding of major consumer product retailers
  • Advanced analytical experience with category management
  • Prior knowledge/experience with retail programs
  • Advanced computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Salesforce.com)
