At Koala Health, we have our eyes set on an ambitious goal: to make managing your pet’s health simple and delightful. We’ve already launched our pharmacy service that allows people to shop for their pets’ medications and supplements online and get them delivered to their doorstep in presorted medication pouches. Now we’re focused on continuing to improve that experience while building a suite of new products and services that will make the pet health experience even better.
We are looking for a Lead Generation Specialist to identify veterinarian clinics that would benefit from partnering with Koala Health and initiate new clinic relationships that yield long term, productive engagements.
What you’ll do:
- Reach out to potential veterinarian partners over the phone and email in an effort to secure a lunch and learn with the clinic
- Use customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage leads, follow ups, and ongoing sales activities
- Proactively identify solutions to questions our potential customers have regarding the value of Koala’s unique service
- Provide a best-in-class experience for our prospects while working in a fast-paced environment
- Understand that each interaction is about more than solving a single problem, but an opportunity to create a delightful experience
- Work closely with other members of the B2B team to track and monitor the success of prospective partners further down the sales funnel
- Successfully achieve established targets and goals
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and industry developments
What you’ll need:
- High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 1+ years of B2B inside sales experience, preferably in the Animal Health Industry
- Experience with high volume cold calling and prospecting
- Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
- Experience working in Veterinary/Pet care a plus
- Excellent communication skills (spoken and written)
- Animal lover – Not required, but definitely a plus
