Join our Retiree Health Solutions Team
Our team provides Medicare health insurance services to the retiree community. We work with retirees to help them navigate and choose the plan that fits their financial and medical needs. We build relationships with seniors on a one-to-one basis understand their needs and ensure we deliver tailored, cost-effective solutions.
About the Role
As a licensed agent you will have the opportunity to join the team servicing the growing senior healthcare market. You will work with the retiree community to understand their needs and deliver personal solutions. You will build trusted, understanding relationships by phone and video to advise and guide our customers throughout the process. This is a direct, long-term position. The work you will do
- Completing our paid training and licensing program to ensure you are familiar with the Medicare products and are licensed to sell across several states.
- Working with our customer service team to receive live transfer calls that are pre-qualified for coverage
- Guiding and advising senior consumers through complex online applications for a variety of Medicare products from various carriers
- Explaining full elected benefits and answering any questions for the senior consumers
- Ensuring compliance with Federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid standards and all state legal requirements
- Meeting or exceeding weekly sales quotas by delivering exceptional service to close the sale
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will:
- Hold a valid resident health insurance license
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent level of education
- Have good sales, customer service or call center experience
- Be able to communicate complex information with patience and empathy
- Show an aptitude and desire to improve your own knowledge and develop your career with us
- Adhere to industry guidelines and procedures (CMS Compliance Guidelines)
- Obtain release documents as required if previously sponsored by carriers or other companies.
- Have no contracting restrictions as related to carriers and/or previous employers.
- Ability to commit to a 40-hour work week Monday to Friday (9am 6pm Eastern Time)
- Be able to work some overtime during peak season (mid Sep mid Dec)
