Role Description
As aTravelAdvisor, you will work on a highly collaborative and fast-paced team led by a SeniorTravelAdvisor and alongside anotherTravelAdvisor. You will execute trips for members from conception to completion, including trip research, correspondence with suppliers and concierges, booking of all details, and constant communication and collaboration with your team and your members. The ideal candidate is someone who has good industry experience preferably in the luxury sector is highly organized and detail-oriented, and is ready to collaborate on executing trips for members at the highest level. Please note that this is not an entry-level role and previoustraveladvisor experience is required.
Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work on a team of advisors with an exceptional group of high-end travelers as your clients
- Collaborate with your team to research destinations, activities, dining experiences and more, customized to your members tastes and preferences
- Handle execution of all trip booking details from hotels to transfers to reservations and more
- Work directly with hotels, villa suppliers, DMCs and local fixers globally
- Collaborate with your team on research and recommendations fortravelitineraries
- Tap your love fortravel; provide targetedtravelintelligence and advice tailored to each specific member’s needs
- Be proactive and creative; seek out solutions off the books when needed
- Be an added voice in the conversation and accompanied projects surrounding Marchays growth and development as a company
REQUIREMENTS:
- You are based in North America and are willing to work Eastern Time Zone hours
- You have 2+ years of experience planning luxurytraveleither as an independent contractor or company employee
- You are comfortable working on 30-40 trips at once
- You have experience working with large amounts of data and staying organized using a CRM (e.g., itineraries, trip feedback, client information, etc.)
- You are well-versed in working with luxury hotels, first and business class air, DMCs, villa suppliers, guides, etc
- You have a sophisticated understanding of a high-end consumers lifestyle andtraveltrends
- You have a demonstrated ability to deliver a great client experience with ease and grace
- You have excellent verbal and written communications
- You can multitask easily and have outstanding time management skills
- Bonus points for Sabre GDS knowledge, Salesforce CRM expertise, and experience working on a team
