I am looking for a full-time employee to help us at JenniferMaker as a Maker Experience Expert!
This position focuses on ensuring that each communication with our crafters is informative, supportive, positive, and on-brand. The ideal candidate will be experienced with customer service and support skills, as well as familiar with the JenniferMaker brand.
The person who is right for this position loves to help people, has exceptional communication skills, and enjoys supporting others and helping them succeed.
While perhaps not quite yet an expert, this person does have a solid grasp of or familiarity with the JenniferMaker blog and courses/ebooks, as well as a basic understanding of Cricut, sublimation, blogging, and crafting.
This position involves a combination of creativity, attention to detail, follow-through, and it has high expectations for meeting deadlines.

Position Details
Status: This is a full-time non-exempt employee position (not a contractor position).
Availability: Flexibility and ability to pivot is a must. Must be available and willing to work weekends and evenings as needed.
Salary: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
Special Note: As a JenniferMaker employee, you will not be able to engage in any outside activity that could be construed as a conflict of interest, such as running or working on your own or someone else’s blog or crafting business.
Responsibilities
- Acts as the first point of contact for the majority of our readers and customers, and always with a smile!
- Interacts with and responds to all questions and/or comments from readers and customers related to JenniferMaker Facebook page, YouTube, emails, chat, and blog comments within 24 hours of receipt on weekdays.
- Assists with product launches by providing excellent customer service and is available as needed during launch periods.
- Focuses on primary job duties and ensures they are complete before taking on additional projects.
- Does not engage in any outside activity that could be construed as a conflict of interest (running or working on your own or someone else’s blog or crafting business).
- Understands that copyrights and ownership for designs created for the JenniferMaker brand will belong to the brand.
- Understands and uses the JenniferMaker products and projects so you can answer questions and support our crafters.
- Effectively communicates with the team and meets with us weekly on Zoom video chats.
- Has the best interest of the JenniferMaker brand in mind.
- Helps us look good to our readers and customers.
- Works with minimal supervision.
- Additional duties as required by management.
Things You’ve Done in the Past
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a customer service/support position.
- Experience with Gmail, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Forms, Facebook (pages, groups, and ads), and YouTube.
- Experience with a Cricut cutting machine and Cricut Design Space.
- Knowledge and understanding of Cricut and sublimation crafting.
- Experience working with a virtual team.
- Preference may be given to candidates who have experience working with Intercom.
- Preference may be given to candidates who have experience writing and maintaining a blog (your own or managing someone else’s).

Has unreliable Internet or computer access (you must have your own Mac or Windows desktop or laptop for this position — ChromeBooks and tablets will not get the job done)
Wants to learn how to blog or run a business from Jennifer. As an employee, you will not be able to have your own blog or craft-related business, as that would be a conflict of interest and split your focus. This position requires 100% focus on growing the JenniferMaker brand and community.
