LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Medical Claims Insurance Representative for a full-time, Contract to Hire position. This is a great opportunity with an organization who is seeking an experienced candidate to start immediately!
The anticipated pay rate range for this position is between $19 and $22.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent service to providers, members and clients who have claims, eligibility and benefit related questions
- Promptly respond to concerns in a timely manner.
- Resolve payment/adjudication questions at the time the call is received
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally
- Maintain at least a 95% response time.
- Resolve complex calls
- Clearly communicate claims status, payment methodology, contract terms, procedures, etc.
- Assist with the claim appeals process
- Perform research and re-examine claims
Experience/Requirements:
- 2+ years in a general healthcare claims call center environment required. (Anthem, BCBS, UHC or other large commercial payers)
- Need to have EOB, claims, calculating out of pocket costs and deductibles experience
- Knowledge of healthcare claims, coding and processing guidelines.
- Knowledge of Medical terminology and insurance preferred
