Description
A large and growing healthcare company is in need of several remote Medical Customer Service Representative’s.
Epic software experience is highly preferred. Must have a healthcare background. Should also have experience working in a call center environment. Bi-lingual is also highly preferred, but not mandatory.
Should have strong technical skills with the ability to learn quickly, strong initiative, and work in a very fast-paced environment, The Medical Customer Service Representative will have duties to include resolution of non-payment accounts, addressing billing questions, reviewing patient accounts, review claims for appropriate use of procedure, modifiers and diagnostic codes.
This is a remote opportunity.
The Customer Service Unit (CSU) represents our hospital clients to patients when they call. Whatever impression is left with them from their call to us is how they feel about the hospital. CSU applies the principles of strong people, excellent processes, and effective technology to provide excellent customer service and better patient outcomes.

When responding to inquiries CSRs use professional manner and process knowledge to identify solutions to help resolve patient accounts.
This position is supported by strong training and leadership and continuously strives to become a subject matter expert. Success in this role is measured by overall patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities include but not limited to –
Responds promptly to inbound calls from client hospitals regarding billing questions.
Answers patient inquiries by clarifying desired information.
Resolves problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; escalating unresolved issues.
Gathers and enters patient information into hospital host system.
Directs inbound callers to the appropriate company contact.
This is a potential temporary to full-time position for the right candidate.
