As part of our Intake team, you’ll be the first touchpoint in a patient’s healthcare journey—gathering vital details and ensuring timely, accurate case creation. This role is fully remote, offering flexibility while making a real difference.

What You’ll Do
- Manage incoming calls, emails, faxes, and website inquiries
- Enter patient demographics and case details into the system accurately
- Determine if requested services require precertification based on client contracts and regulatory standards
- Support both patients and internal nursing teams through real-time communication and follow-up
- Handle fax distribution (100–200/day), create documents, send out reports and letters
- Assist with claim verifications, discharge tracking, case assignments, and administrative follow-up
- Perform additional duties as needed in support of Utilization Review (UR), Case Management (CM), and Disease Management (DM) teams
What You Need
- High school diploma
- Strong typing/data entry skills and attention to detail
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and work well in a team
- Previous call center or customer service experience preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
