What You’ll Do

  • Answer a high volume of inbound calls and direct/transfer calls as needed
  • Handle front office coordination (appointment scheduling, transport coordination)
  • Communicate clearly with patients, clients, teammates, peers, and leadership
  • Enter and update information in Carenet systems and EMR/EHR databases
  • Respond to patient and vendor inquiries (clinic directions, hours, general info)
  • Contact health plans and verify patient insurance information
  • Deliver patient-focused service that makes people feel cared for

What You Need

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Healthcare front office experience (medical assistant or medical front office)
  • Appointment scheduling experience and EMR/EHR familiarity
  • Strong computer skills (data entry, navigation, keyboarding)
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Word
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong empathy, compassion, and patient-centered mindset
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Home equipment requirement: 2 monitors (at least 22”) with HDMI and Display ports
