What You’ll Do
- Answer inquiries from members, providers, brokers, and employer groups
- Verify benefits, claims, prescriptions, and authorizations
- Explain coverage, enrollment, provider networks, and premium billing
- Handle complaints, appeals, and forward concerns appropriately
- Ensure compliance with CMS, DMHC, NCQA, and other healthcare standards
- Assist with payments, billing reminders, and education projects
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve member issues quickly
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of call center representative experience
- 1+ year of Medicare customer service or in-office Medicare experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of healthcare plans, benefits, and performance standards
- Proficiency with computers and accurate documentation skills
Preferred
- Epic database experience
- AA degree in Business or Healthcare Administration
