As a Medicare Supplement & Ancillary Benefit Advisor, you will primarily take inbound calls, and listen, consult, and advise clients over the phone on their Medicare supplement and ancillary health insurance options. You will also be responsible for outbound follow-up on pipeline, book of business, and referrals. Licensing will include all 50 states, will all top regional and national carriers’ eHealth is contracted with. Measures of success will be performance-based by revenue generation, conversion, ancillary attach rate, and application and member retention.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Inbound sales and outbound follow-up on pipeline, book of business, and referrals
  • Assisting beneficiaries with their Medicare Supplement and Ancillary product options, enrollment and follow up on applications.
  • Attending and applying feedback from coaching sessions on sales processes and best practices.
  • Maintain attendance and conformance standards.
  • Perform all responsibilities compliantly.
  • Carrier training and plan feedback
  • Demonstrate proficiency in all measurements, including Retention, Compliance, Sales Mastery
  • Drive sales and revenue by assisting customers in making healthcare decisions over the phone
  • Meet monthly sales and performance goals
  • Remain current on products and processes in a multi-product environment
  • Abide by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Medicare Marketing Guidelines and company policies and procedures

Basic Qualifications:

  • Two or more years’ experience working with Medicare Supplement products.
  • Two or more years’ experience working in a Sales or contact center environment.
  • Must currently possess an active resident state insurance license in Health.
  • Ability to work a shift between 6:00AM – 6:00PM PST Monday through Friday, must also be available to work overtime, weekends and holidays as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma & GED (or experience in lieu of high school diploma)
  • Proficient at underwritten process and qualifying beneficiaries
  • Thorough understanding of State and Federal GI rights
