Responsibilities
- Provide accurate, easy-to-understand guidance on health insurance and employer benefits across phone, text, chat, and email
- Support new members with onboarding, ensuring they understand plan options and next steps
- Assist members throughout their care journey—finding providers, resolving claims, or referring to clinical care managers
- Deliver feedback to product teams to improve member support experiences
- Ensure every member feels cared for and valued through exceptional service
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in social work, patient advocacy, or health coaching preferred
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
- Familiarity with healthcare or insurance benefits a plus
- Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and comfortable in a startup environment
- Adaptable and willing to work outside of traditional job descriptions
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with modern web applications
