Siemens Smart Infrastructure is seeking an outstanding National Account Manager (NAM)/ Key Account Manager (KAM to orchestrate our engagement with our National Builder Partners at the executive level, and all other appropriate levels in the organization. As an account executive professional, you will be at the forefront of driving the strategic expansion of our Smart Infrastructure portfolio in hardware, software products, and industry-leading solutions and services, ensuring profitable, accelerated growth with focused accounts. Your role will be crucial in understanding the customer’s needs, drivers, and trends and translating this understanding into tailored offers and solutions from Siemens.
The National Account Manager (NAM)/ Key Account Manager (KAM) is a remote position located in the Southeast United States (Atlanta, Charlotte, Orlando are preferred cities).
You will make impact with the following responsibilities:
- Analyzing customer needs: Evaluate market, business targets, and key drivers to guide Siemens resources and investments.
- Developing strategic plans: Build and update 3-5-year account business plans, aligning Siemens offerings with National Home Builder priorities.
- Driving profitable growth: Secure commitments, expand share of wallet, and lead project execution.
- Building strong relationships: Map key influencers at the National Home Builder executive level, maintain effective communication, and leverage Siemens network of electrical contractors and distribution partners.
- Leading cross-functional teams: Empower individuals, lead without direct authority, and deliver successful outcomes.
- Tracking and reporting progress: Monitor plan execution, report results to collaborators, and ensure accountability.
- Influencing and negotiating: Apply expertise, navigate organizations, and secure desired outcomes.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration.
- 5+ years’ experience in the power/building systems technologies, offers, and services.
- 5+ years’ experience with the following:
- Senior sales/account management experience at the executive level with proven success.
- Running account/business planning, goal setting, and financial acumen.
- Leading complex projects and customers successfully.
- Cross-cultural leadership and management skills.
- Ability to travel 30-50% nationwide with limited international travel.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in business administration or related Business discipline.
- Experience leading teams in multi-location/international environments.
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills with solution selling experience.
- Proven track record of attaining results through own efforts and efforts of others.
- Comfort dealing at all levels within customer and Siemens organizations.
- Prior experience in account management/business development with a large general contractor could be beneficial.
