About the Role

The Onboarding Support Specialist will join the Onboarding & Compliance team to ensure healthcare professionals meet compliance standards so they can begin working quickly and safely. This role involves direct communication with professionals, document validation, compliance checks, and issue resolution. It’s a front-line operations position ideal for someone detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable using technology to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Guide healthcare professionals through the onboarding process via phone, chat, and email
  • Review, validate, and approve documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements and SOPs
  • Identify and escalate incomplete or potentially fraudulent submissions
  • Follow step-by-step checklists to ensure proper process adherence
  • Maintain accurate records and document resolution steps for audit purposes
  • Report recurring issues or trends to management for process improvement
  • Collaborate with Training, QA, and SMEs to refine workflows and reduce errors

Qualifications

Required:

  • Experience in trust & safety, document verification, credentialing, compliance operations, or customer support in high-compliance or fast-paced settings
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies quickly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to make quick, sound decisions under limited or ambiguous circumstances
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and organized
  • Comfort with remote work tools like Slack, Google Sheets, and ticketing/task management systems
  • Willingness to give and receive feedback constructively

Technical Requirements:

  • Wired internet connection with at least 15 Mbps download speed
  • Minimum system specs: Intel i5 (8th gen+) / AMD Ryzen 5 (2000 series+) / Apple M1+, 12 GB RAM (16 GB preferred)
  • Quiet, professional home workspace with noise-canceling headset and reliable power/internet
