Schedule

Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care for CPAP/BiPAP and oxygen patients over the phone
- Begin PAP consult process for new referrals and establish follow-up and monitoring schedules
- Evaluate patient compliance data and adjust care plans accordingly
- Educate patients on proper use of PAP units, supplies, and oxygen equipment
- Audit clinical records and identify cases requiring further review or intervention
- Collaborate with physicians, referral sources, and PAP team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain working knowledge of PAP compliance software, new technology, and relevant supplies
- Document all patient care activity, interventions, and communications in compliance with company standards
- Ensure recommendations and orders are acknowledged and followed up promptly
- Provide education to referral sources on best practice standards
- Work proactively with peers to resolve patient care issues and improve processes
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
- Current license/registration as a Respiratory Therapist in state of hire
- Minimum 1 year of respiratory care experience (DME industry preferred)
- Strong experience with CPAP/BiPAP patients
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer guidelines for sleep and oxygen therapy
