Schedule

  • Full-time, remote position
  • Hours may vary based on patient and branch needs

Responsibilities

  • Provide respiratory care for CPAP/BiPAP and oxygen patients over the phone
  • Begin PAP consult process for new referrals and establish follow-up and monitoring schedules
  • Evaluate patient compliance data and adjust care plans accordingly
  • Educate patients on proper use of PAP units, supplies, and oxygen equipment
  • Audit clinical records and identify cases requiring further review or intervention
  • Collaborate with physicians, referral sources, and PAP team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain working knowledge of PAP compliance software, new technology, and relevant supplies
  • Document all patient care activity, interventions, and communications in compliance with company standards
  • Ensure recommendations and orders are acknowledged and followed up promptly
  • Provide education to referral sources on best practice standards
  • Work proactively with peers to resolve patient care issues and improve processes

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
  • Current license/registration as a Respiratory Therapist in state of hire
  • Minimum 1 year of respiratory care experience (DME industry preferred)
  • Strong experience with CPAP/BiPAP patients
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer guidelines for sleep and oxygen therapy
