Schedule

  • Part-time (20 hours per week), Monday–Friday
  • Normal business hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm MST
  • Hybrid model: 3 days in-office at 2 S Cascade, Suite 140, Colorado Springs, CO
  • 60–90 days of paid, on-site training (aligned with assigned schedule)
  • Eligible for hybrid/remote split schedule after training
  • Occasional overtime based on business needs

What You’ll Do

  • Answer 70–80 incoming calls daily, identifying customer needs and documenting details in company systems
  • Ask appropriate questions and use active listening to resolve inquiries
  • Research issues across multiple databases and collaborate with support teams to find solutions
  • Schedule patient appointments, updating demographic information as needed
  • Handle escalated issues and provide follow-up support
  • Perform other assigned duties to ensure smooth operations

What You Need

  • High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent experience)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 1+ years of customer service experience in an office, administrative, or call center setting
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate Windows-based applications and learn complex systems
  • Ability to work part-time (20 hours/week) during normal business hours, with occasional overtime if required

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of healthcare-related experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology

Telecommuting Requirements

  • Must live within commuting distance of the Colorado Springs office
  • Secure, dedicated workspace at home that protects privacy and sensitive information
  • Compliance with UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy
  • High-speed internet service approved by the company

Soft Skills

  • Typing speed of at least 40 wpm
  • Strong active listening and rapport-building skills
  • Ability to manage conflict and resolve issues under pressure
  • Basic IT troubleshooting skills
