Schedule
- 100% remote position
- Start date: Monday, October 20th, 2025
- Training & Nesting: 4–6 weeks, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST
- Regular shift after training: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM EST
What You’ll Do
- Handle 30–35 inbound calls per day from patients, providers, and health plans
- Investigate payment status and determine patient financial responsibility
- Collect outstanding balances and offer financial assistance options
- Answer billing questions about EOBs, balances, and benefits
- Ensure prompt, efficient, and accurate call resolution
- Escalate complex patient concerns when needed
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year of customer service experience in a call center
- 1+ year of healthcare or medical industry experience
- 1+ year of billing experience (preferred)
- Ability to work with dual monitors and multiple applications
- Keyboarding skills of at least 30 WPM with accuracy
- Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills
