Schedule
- Full-time, remote (work from home)
- Must be able to work mid-day and night shifts with alternating days off
- Assessments may be required during the hiring process (must be completed independently)
What You’ll Do
- Take inbound calls from patients, providers, and members
- Support callers who may be sick or in emergent situations and help route appropriately
- Help members understand and use their health insurance (PCP changes, urgent care locations, prescription authorizations)
- Provide 24/7 triage support by assigning priority for an RN to provide health advice
- Answer questions related to claims, appeals, and authorizations
- Communicate with patient reps, providers, and pharmacies as needed to resolve issues
What You Need
- High School Diploma or GED (verified during background check)
- Healthcare experience required (medical front office, PBX/911 operator, medical assistant, nursing assistant, or similar)
- Strong computer skills (data entry, screen navigation, keyboarding)
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong empathy, compassion, and patient-focused approach
- Ability to provide two 22-inch monitors with HDMI and Display ports
