- Remote, work from home
- Must be able to work mid-day and nights with alternating days off
- Pay: $15.00/hour
What You’ll Do
- Take inbound calls from patients, providers, and members
- Help manage calls involving sick patients or emergent situations
- Support members with insurance needs, questions, and concerns
- Help members use their health insurance (change PCPs, locate urgent care, obtain prescription authorizations)
- Provide 24/7 triage support by assigning priority for a Registered Nurse to deliver health advice
- Answer questions related to benefit claims, appeals, and authorizations
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED (verified during background check)
- Healthcare experience required (medical front office, PBX/911 operator, medical assistant, nursing assistant, or similar)
- Strong computer skills (data entry, screen navigation, keyboarding)
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Excellent customer service skills and strong written/verbal communication
- Strong empathy, compassion, and patient-first mindset
- Ability to work mid-day and night shifts with alternating days off
- Home equipment: 2 monitors (22” each) with HDMI and Display ports
