Schedule
- Full-time, remote position
- Open to candidates in South Africa, Colombia, and India
- Requires stable internet connection and dedicated home office setup
What You’ll Do
- Manage the hygiene department’s schedule to ensure productivity and minimize downtime
- Contact patients to schedule appointments with hygienists and doctors
- Confirm and follow up on appointments to maintain full daily schedules
- Coordinate with insurance companies for benefit and eligibility verification
- Discuss and confirm treatment costs before appointments
- Support patients through treatment completion and reactivate inactive cases
- Handle patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient notes and communication records
- Collaborate with the back office to manage cases awaiting dental lab results
What You Need
- Dental education or 1+ year of experience in patient scheduling or management
- Familiarity with dental terminology and treatment processes
- Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software preferred
- Clear, fluent English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Professional phone etiquette and comfort handling long patient interactions
- Reliable and organized, with strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and ability to adapt quickly in changing situations
Tech & Workspace Requirements
- Primary internet: 15 Mbps minimum; backup connection: 10 Mbps minimum
- Desktop/laptop with Intel Core i5 (8th gen+) or AMD Ryzen 5 equivalent, and 8GB RAM
- Backup device capable of maintaining work continuity during power interruptions
- Noise-canceling USB headset, webcam, and quiet home office space
- Smartphone for communication and verification
